Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic had talks today with Ambassador of Slovakia to Serbia Fedor Rosocha.
The Serbian Foreign Minister said that he was pleased that Slovak Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Korčok was about to visit Serbia, which was scheduled for 8 February this year.
The visit by Minister Korčok demonstrates best the friendly relations between the two countries and the continuous political dialogue at all levels, while presenting an excellent opportunity to discuss further development of bilateral economic cooperation, Minister Selakovic underlined.
Minister Selakovic thanked the Ambassador for the fact that Slovakia unambiguously and consistently supported the EU enlargement policy, and particularly so regarding Serbia and the Western Balkans.
Selakovic reiterated gratitude for the consistent and principled position of Slovakia concerning the issue of Kosovo and Metohija, stressing that Serbia was committed to the normalization of relations with Pristina which, according to the Minister, implied reaching a compromise solution that would be sustainable and acceptable to all.
